School's Out for Summer...so let's head to St. Louis!!!

Well, Hunter is officially a second grader.  He finished up the school year well and is ready for summer break!

The day after school got out we headed to St. Louis for a couple days, before all the summer activities go going.  We had a lot of fun and somehow missed all the bad weather.  The boys loved the zoo.  This was Henri's first time at a zoo and loved the Elephants.  We even got to see the baby elephant.  Other than a few (few being quite a few) fits thrown by Henri, we had a great time.

I liked this picture...hee hee

We also got to see the arch and go up inside.  Hunter especially loved this!

To those of you who know me well...yes I did go to, although I was very tempted not to. Glad I did, it was really neat and I enjoyed watching the boy so excited.  Henri pretty much jumped off the step over and over.

He did enjoy the rides in the little elevator car.

And you gotta love hotels.  Great story, so Henri is fully potty trained, but really loves his Elmo potty seat, that has been the best potty seat we have had.  So I had it at the hotel and it was sitting by the toilet and garbage can.  Well, I guess housekeeping thought it was garbage and THREW IT OUT!!!  I found a man and he actually found it, except for the guard.  And a potty seat for a boy without a guard is pretty much useless.  Oh well, life goes on.  After a week of messy potty time the new cars one I ordered can in and it is working fine.

Moving on...we also went to Grants farm.  We had a really nice time there.  Hayden even feed the goats, on the other side of the fence of course.

Henri also had is first ride on a carousel.

And the other two had their first ride on a camel.

Do these two look alike???
We finished up the trip with a visit to the Magic House.  I wish we had more time there, it was a great place, next time.

The future of our country...

Then we had a very entertaining drive home.

Hooray for Summer!!!
