Cont...

Henri did NOT enjoy the snow!!!

Warming up...

He thought this was a much better way to enjoy the snow

Our first Official Christmas was at Pa & Ma's house.  We had a wonderful meal of Smoked BBQ ribs, Twice Baked Potatoes, asparagus, corn and really yummy rolls.  It was SOOOO Good.  Thanks Dad & Mom!  Megan kept Herni entertained while we waited to open gifts.

Hayden got his Leap Pad 2.  This was a big hit.  Now if Hunter would just stop stealing it from him.  He only has the Leap Pad 1.

This I have to say is his favorite gift of the night.

And Keith finally got his Packit.  After asking for one for a year!!!

Uncle Jake & Megan got the boys nurf guns. (Yeah, guess what I'll find all over the house!)

Henri is wiped out but the boys still have energy to play in what is left of the snow.

Dad and Mom have taken over the kids toys, isn't that just the way.

For lunch on Christmas eve I made santa pancakes.  Requested from last year.

Henri enjoyed making a mess of them, but didn't eat much of it.
Well, I'll try to get the rest up soon. We actually still have a little Christmas to still have yet.  We like to spread out the season as best we can.

Christmas, Don't Be Late???

Well, I'm a little behind on my Christmas Posting.  Oh well.  I think the boys had fun this year.  I'm can't remember if Christmas really happened at all.  It was quite a blur.  Anyway, the boys truly enjoyed getting to ring the bell.  I think they understood the purpose of if too, for the most part.

We had some really nice days this December.  The boys had fun playing outside.

We also had a lot of parties.  And I have eaten A LOT of sweets!

I just had to share this.  Hunter painted this a few weeks ago.  I thought is was pretty good.  I think he is my budding artist.

I made a few cute lunches for Hunter.  I didn't get to many pictures though.  He always asks for lunchables.  I just don't like paying for them (and I'm not sure how great they are for you).  So every now and they I try to make him a "lunchable".

The boys did plenty of crafts.

And Hunter picked out gifts for some of us at his Sparks store.  He earns "sparks bucks" for memorizing Bible verses and they gets to spend them at a "store".  So I let him wrap his gifts.  He did a nice job.  I scored a new pair of socks, and a necklace.  Hayden got a gold medal and Henri got a Mickey candy and Little People girl.  Poor Keith was with him, so Hunter didn't get anything picked out for him.

I think my favorite craft that we did was the toilet paper roll nativity.  It turned out really cute and I didn't need anything special.

I even put silly bands to use.

Hunter also had a great Christmas Winter Program.  Doesn't he look handsome.

I made this lunch for Hayden.  I thought it turned out really cute.

We also celebrated (really fast b/c we had AWANA) Keith's Birthday.

And the boys even got to play int the snow (and wind).

To Be Continued...

On the 1st & 2nd day of December...

So, once again I'm doing the advent calendar with the boys.  It is a big hit every year. This year started out with a bang!!!  December 1st we got to go visit Santa and got the perfect picture!!!  Don't you agree.

We followed that up with surprising my dad BIG TIME with a 60th Birthday Party/Retirement Party.  I'm very bummed I didn't get the best pictures of dad walking in, but believe me when I say he was surprised.  Mom did a great job!!!

I had fun making him a couple cakes.  A quarry cake and a hunting cake.

We got an okay family picture.  At this point they boys did good just sitting there.  They were all exhausted!!!

On Sunday we made paper snowflakes and looked a past Christmas pictures.  This was a lot of fun to do with the boys.  They enjoyed laughing at pictures of each other.  It reminded me of how quickly the time has gone!  This is Hunter's 7th Christmas!

Hopefully I'll get the rest of the days posted along with some of the verses we are reading.
I also posted my Christmas Decorations
