Yes, it is true. My Baby turned 5. I'm dealing with it better than I thought. The day before his birthday we registered him for Kindergarten. He is very excited to go to school in the fall. I have mixed feelings about it! Anyhow, he enjoyed his birthday. We had Cubbies that night, so we opened gifts in the morning before Daddy went to work.
Hunter awoke very easily this morning (which is not always the case) he knew he had gifts waiting for him!
As Hunter began opening the cards and gifts, Hayden started out excited. I think he was thinking Christmas...
Once he realized ALL the gifts were for Hunter, his attitude quickly changed. Don't worry, he survived it.
Hunter got the Crayola Glow Explosion board, a new Bible, and 2 Bearinstain Bears movies.
Here he is enjoying one of his Bearinstain movies after a breakfast of Chocolate Chip Pancakes.
We then went outside to play.
Hunter tried to fly kite.
Hunter got to choose his lunch. Which consisted of Capitan Crunch, Whale Crackers and a PB & J (J=Poppy's homemade Chopped Cherry Jam)
For Dinner the boys made a pizza together. I gave Hunter the day off from his chores and he was allowed to watch ALOT of Bearinstain Bears. It was a good day!!!
Happy Birthday Little Man...

So hard to believe your little guy is 5!!! Looks like it was a fun day. I LOVED the picture of Hayden at the start of present opening and then the next one. So hard for them to understand. I felt sorry for him, but I have to admit I laughed out loud...
I'm sure Hunter is going to love kindergarten and it's great that he's excited about it already. How does it work there? Will he go full days or half?
Also wondering how the Henri's appointment went-
What a great birthday! I can't believe he's going to Kindergarten either! Time really does fly.
I love the no chores on your birthday idea! Love watching your boys grow up!
