4th of July Weekend...

Fourth of July Weekend Started off with a Bang...sorry, that was pretty cheesy!

On Friday Hunter actually took a nap which is surprising for him. He fell asleep on the couch. That was good, because we had a very busy, but fun, weekend.

Friday night Keith got his new counselling office painted, which was a big relief! I cleaned all night! It was so much fun!!! Really, I love cleaning, especially when the kids a sleeping and I can get most of the house done at one time!

On Saturday we spent the day and Keith's parents. His Sister & Brother-In-Law came down with their two kids too. Hunter spend most of the day swimming with Cameron and who ever would get in the pool with him. Hayden stayed away from the water best he could. Nolan is getting big and SO CUTE! The boys also had to get a ride in Grandpa's Tractor!

On Sunday we had a small cookout. I just love cookout food...Corn Casserole,Strawberry Pretzel Salad, Cheesy Potatoes, etc...Oh, and you can't forget the Homemade Ice Cream with Cookie Bars!!!
The kids played outside, with the Sand n' Water Table. The little ones ended up very wet so they ended up in diapers.
We then headed to the fireworks. Before they started, Hunter learned that you don't touch a sparkler even after it is done sparkling. After we got that taken care of BOTH boys LOVED the fireworks. I thought for sure that Hayden would be scared, because on Friday when we were outside playing he heard a motorcycle and began to cry. He surprised me!

On Monday we got up bright and early and headed out for the St. Louis Zoo. It was really HOT but the boys had a great time! Hunter favorite animal was the giraffe because it was the tallest. Hayden loved the elephants and hippos. He also loved the bird house. I'm not sure if he really liked seeing all the birds, or if it was because it was actually air conditioned and we let him out of the stroller to walk around a bit. Either way, he had alot of fun! The boys also took a train ride around the zoo. I sat and took a break while they were doing that. Then we had to stop for some Dippin' Dots. Once we made it through the entire zoo, we headed home!

Our weekend ended pretty much like it started...in naps. Hope you all had a good 4th of July!!!

(I had to put all the writing at the beginning. I'm having trouble with my text matching up to my pictures. Hope it makes sense!)
