I have no pictures to post at this time, but I just wanted to list some of the fun things we hear in our house now that Hunter is talking ALOT!!!
Watch Thomas - He wants to watch the Thomas Video
Thomas Nite Nite - When the video is over
Choo Choo oo oo Tunnel - Choo Choo through the Tunnel
Thomas, James, Percy, Molly, "Lucy" - All what the sound like except "Lucy" is really Rosy
As you may have guessed, we hear alot about trains...
Other things we hear...
Momma, Dadda, Hunter, Baby, MOCHA
A Poo Poo - I guess when he has or needs to go to the bathroom
Mocha No, Mocha Down, Mocha Out, etc... - He thinks he can boss the cat around
Hunter No - When he does something he knows he shouldn't have, or almost does
Coco - He wants Chocolate Milk
Mamma Up - When he wants me to play
Big Car - Our new van
Hiney - I don't quite know what this always means, but he says it alot, we think it has something
to do the eczema on his legs
Jesus Up There, Mamma's Heart, Hunter's Heart, Dadda's Heart - that's one of my favorites!
Cow Listen - When he wants to listen to his CD that plays Old McDonald
Bubbles - He loves to play with bubbles
Button - He pushes the garage door button
Hunter Do It - He has gotten very independent
Momma Do First, then Hunter Do it - This is how we have fought off may arguments
over brushing teeth, washing hand & face, etc...
Well, that is just a short list of all the things he is saying, but some of my favorites!!! He is really putting alot of phrases together & trying to make sentences. He also loves to sing, I love listening to him try to sing along with his CD. He often only gets a couple of the words out well and mumbles the rest, but we'll work on singing diction later.
He is just beginning to have such a personality and I love watching him learn. He has got the ABC song down pretty well, we are working on recognition of letters. He is very good at counting and recognizes most of them, except 9, he doesn't like to say nine? I don't know why. He knows his shapes and is getting better at his colors. He knows blue & pink, and is getting better at green, yellow, orange and purple, he fights red for some reason, it must be like 9???
Hunter also enjoys stickers, coloring and reading.
Other than the tantrums that occur, I love this stage. He is very stubborn and does throw a fit, although, I rarely give in to him, so I don't know what he thinks he is going to accomplish?
Oh well...there is your update on what Hunter is up to!!!

I LOVE the tantrums that occur, they are hilarious, especially the one at Easter. I will never forget watching him stand there with his nose pressed in the corner whimpering as all of us try to stifle our laughter. Also when he asks for spankings and Mamma says, "Well, you're not gonna get one." Touche, Lindsey, touche. Miss ya lots!
That was a classic moment. Where is the video camera when you need it.
He is so funny! How about when he he didn't want to watch the clip about Israel in church, but wanted to watch Thomas instead!
I am still laughing at that.
"TV off. No movie. Want Thomas!"
Yeah, that was funny too!!! I'm sure I could write a book of Hunterisums???sp??Anyway, just wait, very soon you too will get to write a book!
Laughed out loud!! I'm sorry I missed the Easter performance! Thanks for posting this - I love to hear how he's growing and changing.
Your comment made me laugh. Labor day with Hunter, I wish I didn't have to miss such a spectacular event. We would love to get together with you too. We will be in Pontiac periodically for weddings and just to visit, and it would be really nice to tell you all this stuff in person! When we're in town and not swamped (maybe the weekend of Jodie's wedding would be the best - May 31) we'll give you a call!
