Let Summer Begin!!!

As school came to a close we dove right in to the summer activities (that wasn't to cheesy, was it?).  Hayden finished up pre-school and Henri got to check out the class room he will be in next year.  I can't believe Hayden will be heading off to Kindergarten in the fall.  He is really ready though.  I'm so glad we held him back a year.  He has grown so much in that year.  He even made friends in preschool this year.  I know that sounds silly to say, but last year he didn't speak to anyone.  This year he was playing and interacting with the kids and teachers.

His last day leaving his school.

Hunter and Hayden both took swim lesson in May too.  They both did a great job.  Hayden was much more independent and confidant in the water and hopefully Hunter will be ready for his first Triathlon in a few weeks.

We also went to our local zoo for the first time since Hunter was 18 months.  The boys had a great time!
We have also gotten in 1 family camping trip and Hunter and Keith went camping at a friends place for a Father/Son campout.

We have broke out the slip and slide and Hayden will go down it.  Henri too!

Hunter finally finished up 2nd grade.  He woke up early that morning, and was very disappointed that I did not have a "special" breakfast planned, so I had to get creative with what I had.  He called it his Mario breakfast.  Not sure that it looks to much like Mario, but he was happy, so it works!

We have had a bit of a Mario obsession in our home, Henri included.  I found a stray pair of PJ pants at Wal Mart for $1 and now the boys are in a rotation of who wears them which night.  Henri also will wear them often during the day as well.  Did I mention they are a size 6/7.  It's pretty cute.  Keith also got them all Mario hats.  Henri is pretty proud of his outfit.

 Hunter is officially done!!!
Then a BEAUTIFUL day for State Farm Play Day.
Hunter was in his element.  This boy loves to climb.

He made it to the top and rang the bell!

Hayden and Henri gave it a try too.  Hayden did well.  Henri made it up a few steps and turned to me and said, "I don't think this is for me".

Here was my worst moment of the day.  I HATE these swings, the boys do not.  I survived and so do they.

Henri and Hayden going down the big slide, Henri did a flip and smiled all the way!

Then while the big boys were waiting in line for the big Ferris wheel Henri and I did the pony ride,

pet a pig and some other animals in the petting zoo...

waved and the big kids on the Ferris Wheel after their hour wait...

rode the small Ferris wheel about 15 times
(this is at the beginning)

(during)
(the end)
I love how their expressions change!

I also had to throw this in.  Henri loves to sing Let it Go (well, his version of Let it Go)

Oh, and I fixed the piano lesson and robot videos...sorry it took so long!

So far we have had a full summer, which we always do.  We are also doing Baseball (Hayden), Art Lessons (Hunter & Hayden), Triathlon (Hunter), Piano (Hayden), Golf Lessons (Hunter) and hopefully continue swim for all 3 in July.  Poor Henri gets to attend alot of things, but soon it will be him!

These are great - such neat guys.
I enjoyed the piano recital - he's doing very well. I got quite a chuckle when Hunter wanted to have the robot say he was the best...
Love to all,
Auntie Janet
