This are the Valentines that Hunter chose to give out for Valentines day (these were the extra that Hayden gave out).
I did a little decorating. Hayden remembered the hearts from last year and kept asking for them. So the day before Valentines day, I hung them on the mirror and some in the dinning room window.
| I also planned on making these with the boys, but they didn't have much interest, so I made them myself. I thought they were pretty cute. |
I went easy for dinner. Spaghetti!!! The boys love it and it's easy enough to make. Add canned bread sticks in the shape of a heart and easy peasy Valentines dinner! We wrapped up the evening with Marble Saga on the Wii. The new favorite game of the boys (and Keith, I think).
On President's day, the boys had the day off. They had fun doing some "do it yourself" crafting. Give a 4 & 6 year old construction paper, scissors and tape and you never know what they will come up with.
It was actually a pretty nice day out (aside for the 50mph winds) so they went outside to test it out. Hayden was a bit disappointed that it didn't get sucked up into space, but they still had a lot of fun trying.
(Oh, and yes I know the deck needs stained...)
