On Day 11 we read Matthew 1: 22-23, Isaiah 7: 10-15 & John 1:14. These verses talk about the birth of christ being prohisised in Isaiah, they the angel coming to Mary to tell her what was about to happen and then John 1:14 says "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." talking about how he did live amoung us. We talked about how awesome it was that people new about Christ comming long before he was born and also how great it is that he is always with us. This was a really fun discussion with Hunter. Full of questions. Anyhow, we did this on our way up to Grandpa & Grandma's for Christmas with Grandpa's family...
Aunt Sally got the boys Elf hats (Austin got the Santa hat). It was a challenge, but we almost got a good picture. Hayden refused to put the hat on, in pure Hayden fashion. Henri just acted like he knew just what to do. Hat on smiling and yes, saying CHEESE...

Gift time...
Herni also loved gift time. He picked up his gift and started to open. Flashbacks from his birthday party must have been coming back.
It was great getting to see everyone. It seems like it has been a long time. Last year the weather was so bad we couldn't make it. This was actually the first time in years we have had good weather for this Christmas. Yeah!!!
