Well, cubbies has started for another year and Hunter is REALLY excited about it this year. So far has done good learning his Bible Verses. I think he thinks it's pretty cool he is a second year cubbie.

As for Hayden, he is my little independent child. He loves picking out his snack and taking care of it all by himself. He is very sweet, but boy is he independent!!! I can't decide if I really want him to start talking or not, I'm a bit scared what will come out, but maybe it would be a good thing? Who knows!

I also love just watching the boys play. It amazes me how creative Hunter is when he is playing. Here is a magician. He is doing a trick, wearing his cape and magician's hat. We don't really have a good magician's hat so he decided that the fireman's hat was the next best thing. He also has a straw for a wand and Hayden is his assistant. Here he is making my shoe disappear. It was really quite amazing!!!
This week has been fun. The kids I babysit for have been on vacation, so I have had the whole week free, which has been nice. Also the weather has been wonderful!!! It really feels like fall, I just hope it hangs around for a while! We have made it to the park a few times, played outside, spent time with friends and I tackled the dreaded task of changing out the boys closet, which ended up taking pretty much the entire day. Trying to fit two boys clothes in one dresser is not easy, but I think I got it done. I do realize this is a bit early, but this is not something I wanted to be doing a couple weeks before they baby came, so I figured why not...hey and it's done now.
I have been working with Hunter on school work and he is really doing well. He can count by 5's & 10's up to 100 and on his own figured out how to count by 2's up to 12. We are also starting to work on reading a bit and he has learned to read, All, Ball, Call, Fall, Hall, Mall, Tall and we are working on Book, Cook, Look, Took, Hook, and Gook. Hunter loves playing with blocks, playing Hide & Seek, riding his bike, playing with his friends, running around with Hayden and screaming, reading books, playing trains and doing craft projects! He loves watching Calliou and Dinosaur Train. He loves his brother too, as long as Hayden is not hitting him, laying on him or breaking his train track.
Hayden is starting to say a bit more. He still doesn't say alot, but he does talk alot. We mostly hear, More, Please, NO, Maaaaaa, Mama, Hi, Go, Want, There it is, This, Gye Gye (which is Bye Bye) and Ghoo Ghoo (which is his way of saying Choo Choo) I'm not sure why, but he likes to put G's on the front of his words alot. We are working on his colors and I'm not sure if anything is sinking in, but I'm sure it will soon. He also loves to read books, "count", sing his "ABC's" which really comes out A, B, B, B...and so on, do puzzles, talk on the phone, play with trains and blocks, running around with his brother and screaming, Caillou, Thomas and Mickey Mouse and he loves his brother!!!
Well, that's about all we are up to as we patiently await (at least I'm trying) Henri's arrival.
