As I said before, the weekend of Grandma's Auction was bittersweet. We had alot of fun seeing family...
Hunter hanging out with Uncle Jake. Jake was just wanting to make sure Hunter didn't take a swim!
I set Hayden up on the counter to wash his hands, he decided to wash his feet instead. He was having fun, so we decided to let him play, for a little bit anyhow. Don't worry, they were done doing the dishes.
On Friday they (I was not allowed to help, so I just cooked) hauled all the stuff out to the 4-H park. Check out the Shields blog for more photos of that if interested. Then on Sunday morning we all headed back out to the park for the Big Event.
Most of the grandchildren & grandchildren-in-laws got to be product models. Again, I was not allowed to do this. I really have planned my pregnancies well...Just Kidding!

Jacinda...so seriousIt was a busy, hectic weekend, but we all survived and everyone did a great job and worked really hard! We miss everyone already. Michelle, if you are reading this, we are at Mom & Dad's now and Hunter was dissapointed to hear that you were not going to be here.

Great pictures!! I'm feeling bad that I missed it! I told my mom, I had NO IDEA that this auction involved so much labor. I thought it was going to be like the first one where someone came and loaded everything and then ran the auction. As far as I knew, the family was just attending the auction. I probably would've made the trip had I known there was so much that needed to be done!
I love the pictures. The one of the three of us turned out so well! I told Matt he needs to zoom in next time, the one he took of us wasn't very good.
And Julie, YES you should have been there. But only because we wanted to see you all!
