Hayden loves to climb in the trunk and sit among all his toys. He is always on the move and very busy. He is also VERY LOUD! He "talks/grunts" all the time. Especially when "reading" his books. He loves to run and loves being chased by Hunter! He is still a very good baby, although he does have a temper. He loves to eat pretty much anything and everything! He is also doing very well listening and following directions. If you tell him it is time for bed, he goes into his bedroom and stands by his bed or if you tell him to get out of the bathroom, bedroom, etc...he does it. I'm not sure how long that will last, but it is nice for now.

Hayden is just amazed with the Christmas Tree
Hunter & Hayden got a combine ride this weekend too. Thanks Mike & Robin!!!
We went and saw Santa this weekend too (we had busy weekend). Hunter was very good while we waited in line and was very excited to tell Santa he wanted Hungry Hungry Hippos for Christmas...
Are you wondering why Hunter is not in the Picture???
When it was our turn he decided he didn't want to go up??? Why, I have no idea, he wasn't scared, I'm not quite sure, so after asking him one last time we started leaving and the of course, the tears came along with "I want to see Santa..." I told him is was too late and he would have to wait until next year and a lady working there took pity on him and got him back in the line.We go to see Santa at State Farm and they give every kid that comes through a gift. This year Hunter got a play dough set and he loves it. You squish the play dough through fish heads. He thinks it is very funny!
After seeing Santa we went to Boppy & Poppy's for the night and the boys had fun playing, but their house just isn't as "baby proofed" as I am used to so I had to confine them both to get a break! (Really I had Hayden in there and Hunter wanted in too) They had fun running in circle through the living room, hall way & dinning room though and took good naps afterwards
Hunter also surprised me last week with how well he is writing his name. We have been working on it for a while and he had most of it, but the e and r he struggled with and then a couple Sundays ago he came home from Sunday school and had written his name on his paper. I asked him if anyone helped him and he said no, but I wasn't sure. Then a few days later and brought this home from the babysitters and she confirmed that he did it himself and she was surprised too. It is just amazing to me how quickly kids can learn things! Hunter is adding 1's and is getting better at 2's. He knows pretty much all his consonants sounds, were still working on vowels. He loves to draw, paint, color, cut & paste play cars and play with his brother. He is in Cubbies and has learned 10 (I think) Bible verses. And right now LOVES Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.
As for the rest of us (Keith & I) Keith is 9 days away from being done for the semester and then it is on to his LAST semester!!! Same Ol' Same Ol' for me other than I am VERY VERY excited to announce...out basement is being finished (by professionals) I finally hired it done and the drywall for the rest will be here on Thursday!!! Did I mention I am very excited about this !!! Well, this has been an unusually long post for me. I will let you all get back to your lives!

Hey,
I just love your Elf card - such a fun thing to do.
Really enjoyed your post. It is amazing how quickly the boys are growing and changing, etc. I, too, love the picture of Hayden looking at the tree, and the tree is really beautiful.
Looking forward to seeing all of you over the holidays.
Love, Auntie Janet
