WOW!! That is incredible!! Mom had called me the other day and I was able to catch the "dramatic rescue" on the WGN news. What a mess! You're right tho' - it could've been worse. Is grandma back home yet?
Jacinda, I think your dad saved the hot dog. Grandma is still at Mom & Dad's. They have everything up and running except for the hot water, and they are still doing some cleaning of the walls and stuff.
Well, Grandma's Basement was a mess. People work really hard, but it is almost cleaned out. It was pretty sad, but it could have been worse!!!

Poor Grandma. It's amazing the water rose so fast and is already all gone! Please tell me the giant hot dog didn't get pitched, I love that thing!
